Spraying process: Spray primer -+topcoat ->gloss coating ->baking (180-250C) ->quality inspection
The multi-layer spraying process consists of three sprays (referred to as three sprays), including primer, topcoat, and topcoat, as well as secondary sprays (primer, topcoat).
1. Purpose of pre-treatment: Before spraying aluminum alloy profiles and plates, the surface of the workpiece needs to be degreased, cleaned, and chemically treated to produce a chrome film, increase the adhesion and oxidation resistance between the coating and the metal surface, and help extend the service life of the paint film.
2. Primer coating: As a primer coating for sealing substrates, its function is to improve the coating's impermeability, enhance the protection of the substrate, stabilize the metal surface layer, strengthen the adhesion between the topcoat and the metal surface, and ensure the color uniformity of the topcoat coating. The paint layer thickness is generally 5-10 microns.
3. Topcoat coating: Topcoat coating is a crucial layer of spray coating, which provides the decorative color required for aluminum, meets the design requirements for aluminum appearance, and protects the metal surface from external environmental atmospheric, acid rain, pollution erosion, and prevents UV penetration. The anti-aging ability is greatly enhanced. The topcoat is the thickest paint layer in spraying, and the thickness of the paint layer is generally 23-30 microns.
4. Masking paint coating: Masking paint coating, also known as varnish coating, is mainly aimed at effectively enhancing the paint layer's ability to resist external erosion, protecting the topcoat coating, increasing the metallic luster of the topcoat color, making the appearance more vivid and dazzling, with a coating thickness of generally 5-10 microns. The total thickness of the three spray layers is generally 40-60 microns, and can be thickened for special needs.
5. Curing treatment: The three spray coating generally requires secondary curing, and the aluminum material enters the curing furnace for treatment. The curing temperature is generally between 180C-250C, and the curing time is 15-25 minutes. Different fluorocarbon coating manufacturers will provide the best temperature and time according to their own coatings. Fluorocarbon spraying factories (curium oil factories) also have their own experience of changing the two curing times during the three spraying to one curing.
6. Quality inspection: Quality inspection should follow the AAMA-605.02.90 standard. Strict quality inspection is essential to ensure high-quality spray painted products
